Amid thunderous attack of rapidly rising cold wave in Kaziranga, in a sensational incident, a 65 year old male tourist, hailed from Delhi reportedly died on Monday, following his sudden illness, during his visit in Kaziranga National Park (KNP) with his wife.
The couple was stayed at Dhanshiri Hotel in Kaziranga. The victim male has been identified as Alok Garg, who was initially admitted at Kaziranga’s Kohora based Bezabhoirab Hospital for quick medical attention. But, considering his critical health condition, he was later shifted to Bokakhat based Swahid Kamala Miri Civil Hospital where he was declared brought dead by attending physicians. According to the doctors, the cause of sudden death of the victim tourist was due to suspected cardiac arrest. The actual cause of death can be ascertained after getting the autopsy report of the victim–hospital sources informed. A pall of gloom was shaded in greater Kaziranga area at the tragic demise of the victim tourist Garg. Later , the victim’s dead body was reportedly handed over to his wife who has taken back the same to Delhi on Tuesday. Now, legal formalities are underway.
